Denel subsidiary gives boy 10 a prosthetic leg and a chance to escort a player to the field in one of the soccer matches

24 June 2010 – Pretoria: Denel division, Mechem has donated prosthetic legs to two landmine survivors from Mozambique, a 10 year old Celso Hilario Mutemba and 33 year old Seraphim Cassimo Daudo. The donations were presented at the company’s 50th celebrations in May 2010.
The new leg gave ten year old Mutemba an opportunity to participate in the McDonalds “Escort a Player” program where he will escort a player to the field in one of the soccer matches. The boy will be escorting one of the soccer players onto the field in the Chile vs. Spain match at Loftus on Friday, 25 June at 20h30.
